Puppy Application

Please read below fully before applying for a puppy

Dogs make the truest friends BECAUSE THEY WAG their tails, not their TONGUES.

"We trust that the love and commitment that has gone into your puppy long before they drew their first little breath will serve to give you a well balanced, healthy, happy puppy to start your lifetime of love together!"

If you do not receive a response from us within 12 hours, please check your spam folder. Feel free to reach out to us by text (519) 494-5488, or by email at info@candyvillepups.com.

Because our responses have sometimes ended up in the recipient's junk folder, we follow up with a text confirmation to the number provided on your application to make sure you have received our email.

AGAIN, PLEASE CHECK IN WITH US IF YOU HAVEN’T HEARD BACK.

"Here at CandyvillePups, we are committed to giving our pups the best start possible. This starts with giving our parent dogs optimum care, including a high grade dog food, supplementing with Camalina Oil, GI Probiotics, regular deworming and annual vet checks and vaccination, and lots of fresh air, sunshine, and exercise."

Expectant Mamas

Our expectant mamas are on Prenatal Vitamins during gestation, Nursing and Recovery Supplements when pups arrive and through the weaning period, and a few special products to give strength and healing during and after labour and delivery. Mama and pups are dewormed bi-weekly, and pups are vet checked with first shots at 7 weeks of age (unless a pup needs a veternary evaluation sooner than 7 weeks). Pups are on probiotics for healthy development and natural preventatives to avoid Cocciddia and Giardia . We strive to have healthy, well balanced pups ready to meet their new families.

Training & Programs

We do the Early Neurological Stimulation/Early Scent Introduction Imprinting Program in the first 2.5 weeks, start potty training at 3.5 weeks, and crate training at 4.5-5 weeks. We continue the Imprinting Program in pHase two (weeks 3-8) by introducing the pups to a variety of skill building, emotional/intellectual development exercises in our Discovery Room.

Communication

Families get to follow their puppy’s growth and development through weekly updates, photos, and more on a Text Group Chat. This Group Chat remains open for families to interact with us and each other after the pups have gone home. We find this very beneficial as families can share photos, milestones, questions, tips, and special moments with families of their pup’s siblings.

** Please be detailed in your answers, describe the home you will provide, the training methods you have used, and your planned schedule for the puppy. You can also add photos of the pups’ new home or current pets you have in a seperate email. This helps give us confidence in your commitment and ability to care for and raise a puppy properly. Short yes or no answers don’t tell us what we need to know in order to trust our puppy into your care.

Remember, there aren't a lot of right and wrong answers, just honest answers.
